Chicken Baeksuk, a nourishing Korean classic.

Slow-cooked to bring out its natural flavor, Chicken Baeksuk combines tender chicken and a rich, savory broth. This wholesome dish is satisfying, comforting, and perfect for sharing.

Ingredients
  • Chicken1 pc
  • Ginger1 tbsp
  • Garlic2 tbsp
  • Green onion2 stalk
  • Samgethang herb pack1 pack
  • Salt (to taste)

1. Remove excess fat from the chicken and clean thoroughly.

2. Place the chicken in a large pot and add enough water to fully submerge it. Add green onions and the samgyetang herb pack.

3. Bring to a boil, then reduce to a simmer and cook until the chicken is tender, about 1 hour.

4. Place the minced garlic and ginger in a fine mesh strainer or tea infuser and submerge it in the broth. Simmer for about 5 minutes to infuse the flavor without clouding the broth, then remove.

5. Remove the herb pack and season with salt to taste.
