Bibim Guksu is a Korean noodle dish coated in a bold, tangy sauce. Refreshing and easy to enjoy, it’s a go-to Korean dish for a quick, satisfying meal.

Ingredients
  • Somyeon (thin wheat noodles)1 serving
  • Perilla leaves (thinly sliced)5 pcs
  • Gochujang2 tbsp
  • Korean chili flakes2 tbsp
  • Vinegar4 tbsp
  • Sugar3 tbsp
  • Garlic (minced)1 tbsp
  • Soy sauce2 tbsp
  • Sesame oil1.5 tbsp
  • Sesame seeds (a little)
  • Egg1 pc

1. Thinly slice the perilla leaves.

2. In a bowl, mix gochujang, chili flakes, vinegar, sugar, garlic, soy sauce, and sesame oil to make the sauce.

3. Cook somyeon noodles and egg. Rinse noodles under cold water and drain well. Cool the egg and peel.

4. Mix the noodles with the sauce.

5. Place noodles in a bowl, top with sliced perilla leaves and halved boiled egg, and sprinkle sesame seeds.
